CSA FAQ

What is in a share?

One CSA share includes 4-6 items of produce per week. Items may include fruits, vegetables, fresh herbs and value added items (i.e. homemade bread, jellies/jams and dried herbs).

How long is the season?

The CSA program is run on a monthly basis from June through October. Members commit to the CSA for the full season, but pay for their share at the beginning of each month. The purpose of running our program this way is because our customers share the risks of farming (i.e. pests, soil problems, weather, etc.) that might impact our harvest. Unlike larger CSA operations, we are not dependent upon the CSA for our livelihood. Plus, we want you to be satisfied with our produce and have the choice of continuing in our partnership.

How do I join your CSA program?

Signing up is easy. Just go to our CSA Registration page and follow the instructions.

Can I visit the Farm?

Yes! Members of our CSA program are welcome to visit a Novel Farm with their families. We merely ask you call ahead to arrange a time.

What is the cost?

Each week is $15. Value added items (i.e. homemade bread, jellies/jams, eggs and dried herbs) are available at an additional cost.
